Sarah and Jack’s guests will be receiving the famous Scheme Welcome Bag this weekend! Sarah and Jack come from New York, but their guests are traveling from all over. This amazing couple will be greeting all their guests with Las Vegas activity guides, Strip maps, show information, an itinerary and activity list for the weekend, personalized water bottles and Tylenol for the travel, delicious popcorn Vegas style, Wynn poker chips to test their luck and bloody mary kits to cheers to the morning after.

We look forward to working with some great vendors this weekend at The Wedding Salons at Wynn Las Vegas and Vintner Grill Strip. Pictures to come.

Congratulations Sarah and Jack!

Tara knew she had to throw her sister, Amanda, no ordinary bridal shower, but instead one to celebrate Amanda’s bright and amazing personality. The party stemmed from a darling retro bridal shower invitation on Pink Creative Invites on etsy.com. The invitation stated “Let’s Help Amanda Become the “Prefect” Housewife.” The invitations were paired with The Good Wife’s Guide written in May 1955 in Housekeeping Monthly. The guide stated things like “Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.” Guests loved it and it was the perfect stationery to tie the event together. Guests were also asked to bring their favorite recipe card to help Amanda begin her housewife journey.

Centerpieces were made up of pink, red and teal colanders with beautiful spring floral. Vintage cookbooks were staked with fun cooking utensils and measuring cups. Amanda is a hairstylist so we had to throw in the last centerpiece comprised of pink rollers and Aqua Net!

The grand prize winner of retro hand gloves, toilet brush and Comet went to best dressed retro housewife. Other gifts included a cooking sheet with cookie dough and over mitts, retro apron and broom. Guests were invited to pose behind an ironing board to smile big for the camera.

Guests played a game called Who Knows our Bride Best. They were asked a series of questions pertaining to Amanda’s personality and habits. Some questions were: What is Amanda’s least favorite chore? What is Amanda’s Starbucks order? What does Amanda sleep in at night? What is Amanda’s ideal career? Guests also got into teams of four to create a bride out of toilet paper. Hilarious!

Guests were thanked with a wooden spoon on their way out.

Congratulations Amanda on your recent wedding!

February has come and gone which means another WPPI convention has brought thousands of photographers, videographers, bloggers, suppliers and wedding planners from around the world.  We love WPPI because it gives us the opportunity to participate in styled shoots for the eager photographers in town.  See last years red, white and blue shoot held in an airplane hangar here.

This year, Brittany Hansen of the super gorgeous Brushfire Photography contacted us about a shoot she was arranging.  Brittany had the vision of a beautiful Valley of Fire wedding with vintage touches.  She gave us some colors, themes and ideas then let us run with the design.  It kind of our dream come true and one of our very favorite parts of our jobs!

Brittany created a darling ceremony backdrop of hanging ribbon and set it up right in Seven Sisters at Valley of Fire.  We designed a mint green and coral table scape with customized chairs and vintage table settings.  The colors perfectly complemented the greens, reds and pinks Mother Nature provided in the desert.  Sewing, stitching and embroidery details were included in the stationery, hand sewn favor boxes, napkins and yarn wrapped LOVE letters.    A pink cake with pink and white cupcakes filled the Sweets table.

We had such a great time planning Cassetta’s 40th birthday bash!  She came to Las Vegas from Tennessee with 25 of her closest friends to celebrate. Cassetta’s friend created a birthday logo that we used throughout the weekend, which started with a kick off party at View Bar where each guest received a customized welcome bag.  For Cassetta’s birthday party, we transformed a hospitality suite at the Palazzo into her own personal nightclub. We created a giant 40 backdrop out of pictures from the last forty fabulous years of Cassetta’s life.  Cassetta’s Confectionery featured Cassetta’s favorite childhood candies and cupcakes from Caked Las Vegas. Guests posed in front a custom step and repeat and had fun in the photobooth from Shutterbooth. JD from JD Photography was there to capture all the fun!

Happy 40th Birthday, Cassetta! We had a blast being a part of your big day!
